CITY Furniture Partners With Miami Dolphins for Annual “Delivering Hope” Event

Thanks to the partnership, over 100 children will enjoy a more comfortable night of sleep.

Hard Rock Stadium was recently the site of an event hosted by City Furniture, the Miami Dolphins, and the Miami Dolphins Football Unites program. The Miami Dolphins Football UNITES community partners and local non-profit organizations, such as HANDY/HOMES, participated in an evening of fun and entertainment. The event included interactive games, a behind-the-scenes tour of Hard Rock Stadium and the Miami Dolphins locker room, and a delicious dinner. At the end of the night, CITY Furniture CEO Andrew Koenig, along with Miami Dolphins players Jerome Baker, Emmanuel Ogbah, Duke Riley, and Durham Smythe, surprised 100 children and their families with a brand-new bed that featured Miami Dolphins-themed bedding.

For the past six years, the Dolphins and CITY Furniture have collaborated to provide over 600 beds to needy children and families via the Delivering Hope program. The recipients of this event included families from Lotus House Women’s Shelter, HANDY/HOMES, the Mexican American Council, the Seeking Education Empowers Knowledge (S.E.E.K) Foundation, and SOS Children’s Villages Florida.

Rize generously donated the bedframes, BedGear provided the pillows, and Serta Simmons supplied the mattresses, ensuring that each child received a complete and comfortable sleep set at the Delivering Hope event.
