Condo Market: Spotlight on Brickell

Short-term rental buildings in Brickell have seen stunningly strong demand, with about 92% of the total units available sold. The market is keeping pace with red-hot 2021, with 1,225 transactions from January to April of 2022 compared to 2021, when there was a total of 3,615. And sale prices of condos from the first quarter of 2022 have nearly doubled compared to the first quarter of 2019: The average price of sold properties in the first quarter of 2022 was $837,806—compared to the first quarter of 2019, when it was $436,540.
