Construction Begins on Vista BMW Project in Pompano Beach

Miller Construction Company has begun creating a two-story vehicle service garage for Vista BMW of Pompano Beach at 744 N. Federal Highway to modernize the industry. The project will be completed in two phases and will feature a 56,000-square-foot tilt wall structure housing the service garage adjoining the Vista BMW showroom. The first story will have 18-foot ceilings supported by precast joists. It is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2022.

“This project is our fourth with the client and we are honored to be their company of choice when it comes to the construction of their automotive facilities,” Brian Sudduth says, president of Miller Construction. “As experts in the industry, we hope to see new developments and growth across the state that modernize the automotive space.”

In the second phase, completed in the first quarter of 2023, the old service garage will be demolished to make room for additions, including a vehicle ramp to the second level and open-air, canopied parking. The project team includes FSMY Architects and Planners, Kamm Consulting (MEP), Bryntesen Engineers (Structural) and Botek Thurlow Engineering (Civil). Employees and customers in the Vista BMW showroom will not be impacted by construction.

“The Miller team has been great to work with on many of our projects,” Jonathan Chariff says, South Motors Automotive Group CEO, which owns Vista BMW of Pompano Beach. “The new service garage will be a great addition to our BMW facility and will allow us to serve the south Florida community more effectively.”
