It’s never too early to plan your next luxury cruise vacation and Emerald Cruises’ new twin, 100-guest Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara luxury vessels now offer luxury yacht cruises through April 2026. The new itineraries include a brand-new destination in the Indian Ocean and the Tropical Seychelles, along with new ports of call and fresh itineraries in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Red and Caribbean seas. Guests joining either yacht from April 17, 2024 onward will now enjoy a complimentary drinks package with unlimited access to a range of cocktails, mocktails, premium wines, Prosecco and Champagne by the glass, bottled beer and soft drinks, as well as a mini-bar selection in each suite to enhance their experience.
“The highly anticipated debut of Emerald Sakara last month represented a thrilling milestone for Emerald Cruises, effectively doubling our oceanic capacity,” says Ken Muskat, Scenic Group’s Managing Director for the U.S. “Our guests can now indulge in our exceptional luxury yacht experience encompassing an even broader selection of secluded ports and off-the-beaten-path harbors worldwide.”
An online calendar lists the sailing schedule for both yachts until April 2026. For 2024-2026 yacht sailings, there is a two-for-one fare offer and a complimentary drinks package. Guests who pay in full within 30 days of booking are eligible for free air, while those booking top suites can enjoy free premium economy air. Solo travelers can avail of a single supplement as low as 25%. Emerald Cruises will hold a loyalty guest preview from September 11 to 13, and bookings will be open to the public starting September 14.
Highlights of the upcoming seasons include:
The Unspoiled Seychelles
In the winter of 2024 and throughout 2025, Emerald Azzurra is set to take passengers on a voyage to the Seychelles, a vast archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The Seychelles is known for its stunning beaches, lush tropical rainforests, vibrant coral reefs, and dramatic granite rock formations, offering a perfect blend of exploration and relaxation. The round trip from Mahé of the eight-day Tropical Charms of the Seychelles itinerary includes eight islands, each with its secret waiting to be discovered. Guests can visit the otherworldly Vallée de Mai reserve, a prehistoric palm forest where the colossal coco de mer nut grows wild, on the tiny island of Praslin. Cousin Island is an important nesting ground for sea turtles and extremely rare magpie robins, while La Digue Island is perfect for exploration by bicycle, which is available to guests at no extra cost. The first sailing is scheduled for December 22, 2024.
Red Sea Antiquities
During its transit between the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean, Emerald Azzurra will offer several sailings in the Red Sea. These itineraries will call on gateway ports in Jordan, Egypt, Israel, and Saudi Arabia, providing access to some of the most iconic destinations in the ancient world, such as Jordan’s hidden city of Petra, the Pyramids of Giza, and the Valley of the Kings in Egypt, and the sacred city of Jerusalem, among others. The Red Sea sailings are available from December 2024, March, April, October, and November 2025 and April 2026, with an eight- to 12-day duration.
Coastlines and Islands of the Med and Adriatic
In 2024, both yachts of Emerald Cruises will be spending the entire summer season in the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas. This move will allow Emerald Cruises to present a broader range of itineraries in this beloved part of the world. The new itineraries will have several ports of call in the Western Mediterranean, such as Emerald Sakara’s Yachting Gems of the French and Italian Rivieras, an eight-day trip between Nice and Barcelona, and the Coastal Spain and the Algarve, a nine-day journey between Barcelona and Lisbon. Other favorite itineraries along Croatia’s stunning coastline, throughout the Greek isles, and Italy’s picturesque shores will complete the region’s offerings.
Caribbean Island Yachting
Starting in November, the winter season in the Caribbean will be graced by Emerald Sakara, offering guests a unique yacht experience to explore the Caribbean islands. Three eight-day itineraries cover 22 ports across the Windward and Leeward Islands, Eastern Caribbean, and Grenadines, providing a distinctive perspective on Caribbean cruising. Travelers seeking an extensive tropical vacation can combine the three eight-day itineraries into a 15- or 22-day Hidden Treasures of the Caribbean sailing without revisiting any port.
Most Emerald Cruises yacht journeys in all regions are combinable, from two weeks to 2 -days, without repeating a port.
