The Henry E. Haller Jr. Foundation announced a significant investment in the future of Broward Health at the 12th Annual Broward Health Ball: a gift of $5.2 million. The funds will be used to build two new labs at Broward Health Medical Center in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, both of which will offer cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology capabilities and be equipped with Siemens Artis Icono systems.
“These labs will help us meet the growing needs of our community by expanding our capacity to treat cardiac patients, whether they come to us for scheduled or emergency care,” says Jenna Merlucci, vice president of heart and vascular services at Broward Health.
The Haller Foundation’s generosity has already supported a wide range of initiatives, from preparing and serving meals at Ronald McDonald House to funding an infant stroke program. This latest investment in Broward Health reflects the foundation’s ongoing dedication to impactful, hands-on philanthropy.
