Inaugural Eudēmonia Summit in West Palm Beach Focuses on Health and Well-Being

The creators of Wanderlust Festival launched the event.

The inaugural Eudēmonia summit, taking place from Nov. 1 to 3 in West Palm Beach, will attract wellness enthusiasts seeking the latest expert insights, products and services for health and well-being. Inspired by the Greek word for “life well lived,” the event will focus on five elements of human flourishing: movement, nourishment, mental optimization and restoration.

The Eudēmonia summit will feature an array of science-based discussions led by pioneers in the field of health and longevity. The impressive lineup includes Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., Mark Hyman, M.D., Siddhartha Mukherjee, M.D., Sara Gottfried, M.D., Uma Naidoo, M.D., Gabrielle Lyon, D.O., Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D., Jillian Michaels, Dave Asprey and Michael Breus, Ph.D., with more announcements are on the way. The event will also offer various activities, such as workouts led by renowned figures like Jillian Michaels and Adriene Mishler, mindfulness sessions guided by Dan Harris, and a range of spa treatments. Additionally, attendees can look forward to EXPOSŌME, a well-being expo showcasing over 100 cutting-edge wellness tech brands such as Function Health, AG1, Seed and Parsley Health.

Eudēmonia is set to become the first wellness summit to assess the baseline health of its attendees using Basecamp, an on-site biometric testing center developed in collaboration with Function Health. Knowledgeable staff will give attendees insights into their results, enabling them to concentrate on their unique needs and health objectives during the event, ensuring a truly personalized experience.

“Our goal is to empower attendees to optimize their mental and physical health using science-backed tools and practices,” says Sean Hoess, CEO and Founder of the Eudēmonia summit. “Eudēmonia is a summit for doers, and we’ve gathered an incredible lineup of trusted experts, teachers and wellness innovators to guide our guests’ journeys towards better health. By fostering open conversation in an immersive, engaging, and beautiful setting, we can all take a step towards greater well-being—what the ancients called eudaemonia.”

The summit is the result of a partnership between the founders of Wanderlust Festival, who in 2009 pioneered a global series of wellness events, and Discover The Palm Beaches, the official tourism marketing organization for The Palm Beaches.

“The Palm Beaches have been a true wellness destination since its inception, so partnering with the Wanderlust Festival team to create a world-class transformational experience in Florida’s premier travel destination was a perfect match,” says Milton Segarra, president and CEO of Discover The Palm Beaches. “With a temperate climate, an abundance of outdoor and water activities, and spectacular natural beauty, The Palm Beaches offer an idyllic destination for those seeking to improve their overall health and happiness.”

Eudēmonia will be held in downtown West Palm Beach at the luxurious Hilton West Palm Beach Hotel and the adjacent Palm Beach County Convention Center (PBCCC). The event space features half a million square feet of poolside venues, vaulted ballrooms and outdoor culinary experiences. Event organizers anticipate over 3,000 guests and plan to provide various ticket options and a scholarship program.

The Three-Day Badge, priced at $1,449, provides entry to all event areas and sessions, access to treatments at the on-site Thermae spa, entrance to the EXPOSŌME, a complimentary gift tote containing curated products, access to the online scheduling tool with guaranteed access and complimentary shuttles to and from downtown Palm Beach.

For $1,849, the Enhanced Three-Day Badge includes a one-year membership to Function Health, valued at $499. This membership provides a comprehensive screening, tracking, and analysis of over 100 biomarkers. In addition, it includes at-home badge delivery, early access to the online scheduler, a complimentary enhanced gift bag valued at $250 or more and an invitation to the Thursday pre-event party at the Hilton pool.

The Premium Three-Day Badge, for $4,499, includes concierge service, guaranteed front-row seating at all seated sessions, and access to talent dinners and exclusive meet & greets. Eudēmonia also provides affordable daily EXPOSŌME passes for $49, allowing guests to interact with hundreds of top wellness tech brands and participate in select fitness classes. The complete event schedule will be set to be published in late summer.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
