Levan Center of Innovation in Fort Lauderdale Hosts 2nd Annual South Florida Innovation Day

This event is free and open to the public.

The 2nd Annual South Florida Innovation Day event will be hosted by The Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation. The program will feature a “collision station” consisting of entrepreneurs, industry, government, academia, funders, professional networks, and wraparound service providers to strengthen the South Florida innovation ecosystem further. The main focus of the event on Wednesday, Nov. 15, will be on creating professional networking opportunities and promoting innovation collaboration. In partnership with eMerge Americas, it will have tracks on Emerging Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Healthcare. The day’s activities will include panel discussions, entrepreneur pitch sessions sponsored by eMerge Americas, technology demonstrations and a Capture-the-Flag competition.

The Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation operates as a public-private partnership between Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and Broward County. The center, located in a 54,000 sq. ft. purpose-built Fort Lauderdale, Florida facility, is known as “The World’s First Theme Park for Entrepreneurs™” and is focused on three themes – innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
