Mansion Sells for $23 Million to Set New Record in Fort Lauderdale

Previous real estate sales records continue to fall after a mansion in Fort Lauderdale was recently purchased for $23 million. The property at 2412 Laguna Drive in Fort Lauderdale’s exclusive Harbor Beach neighborhood is the highest price-per-square-foot sale in the area.

The gated community with its own residents-only beach club and private marina has lured many CEOs and celebrities to the area, including former NBA star Scottie Pippen and NFL player Giovani Bernard.

Chad Carroll with The Carroll Group at Compass represented the undisclosed buyer of the mansion, which features six bedrooms, 7 ½ bathrooms and Intracoastal water views. Amenities include an outdoor kitchen, clubroom, lap pool, a 200-bottle wine cellar and a two-story marble fireplace.

The average price for a home in Harbor Beach is $1.4 million, according to Zillow.
