New office tower under construction in Fort Lauderdale

Stiles Corp. broke ground on the largest office building constructed in Fort Lauderdale in nearly a decade. The new mixed-used project, Main Las Olas, is on a 2.7-acre site on Southeast Third Avenue and East Las Olas Boulevard. The 358,000-square-foot tower will include a 10th-floor, open-air terrace, a fitness center and a 341-unit apartment tower along with a 16,000-square-foot penthouse office suite. Tenants already securing leases include law firms Akerman and Berger Singerman and BBX Capital, a holding company. Designed by architect Cooper Carry, Main Las Olas is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2020.
