Catalfumo Companies recently announced the approval of an additional 620 multi-family units for its Gardens Station project at 11025 RCA Center Dr. It is now set to have a total of 1,016 multi-family units, with 398 units already under construction by The Richman Group of Companies, a project partner. Out of the 1,016 multi-family units, more than 100 units will be designated for workforce housing.
“We are excited to deliver Gardens Station to Palm Beach Gardens. As a developer located within the Palm Beach Gardens community, it is an honor and a privilege to give back,” Daniel Catalfumo says, Founder of Catalfumo Companies, a prominent real estate development firm. “We know how important our workers are, and workforce housing is more essential than ever. Palm Beach Gardens would not be the budding community it is today without our local workers; we wanted to invest in a transformative project that allows the community to live, work and play.”
Palm Beach Gardens has recently promoted workforce housing by creating homes for people who work in the city but need help to afford to live in the luxurious residences that are rapidly emerging across the area. To achieve its goal of a community where people can live, work, and play, the city collaborates with developers such as Catalfumo Companies and The Richman Group of Companies.
PGA Station is strategically located around the proposed railway stations. The project is designed as a transit-oriented community (TOC) that provides convenient access to rail stations, including the Tri-Rail. The Garden Stations project is expected to be adopted by the corporate tenants of PGA Station. Residents can live only a few steps away from work or easily travel to the proposed nearby train stations.
“Transit-oriented communities are the future of development,” Catalfumo says. “They are extremely commuter-friendly and will be the leading force shaping sustainable cities of the future. Workers want to have easy access to their offices, whether it be from walkability or convenient access to the railways.”
At the entrance of the busy PGA Corridor and close to I-95, PGA Station has been a popular choice for corporate tenants, restaurants, and retailers. Adding residential components to the development will transform it into a true live, work, and play community. Taking advantage of the location, Catalfumo Companies has established its corporate offices at PGA Station, along with The Marc. This upscale apartment complex is expected to be completed later this year. These developments are anticipated to enhance the standard of living and quality of life for all residents in Palm Beach Gardens.
The new addition to PGA Gardens Station was designed by Corwil Architects, who oversaw various improvements to the surrounding area. These enhancements include the installation of sidewalks, landscaping art, and other crucial assets of the project. Additionally, a master landscape plan has been implemented, and the Palm Beach Gardens Art in Public Places program is being followed to ensure that residents and visitors continue to benefit from the area’s enrichment.
