WoodHouse, a renowned hospitality developer and operator specializing in innovative and immersive concepts, recently celebrated the grand opening of The Hotel at The Moore in Miami’s Design District. Located on the fourth floor of the iconic Moore building, the hotel’s debut represents the final stage of the landmark’s transformation into a new cultural hub, featuring a private members club, public restaurant, boutique hotel, executive offices and gallery space. With only 13 suites, The Hotel provides guests with exceptional luxury and exclusivity, along with access to the building’s comprehensive range of amenities and hospitality services.
The Hotel at The Moore aims to create an atmosphere of a private residence, offering a unique level of privacy, elegance and experience that only a boutique hotel can provide. The rooms vary, ranging from approximately 700 square feet to over 1,000 square feet for the largest suites. Each spacious suite boasts luxurious accommodations and is designed with a distinct theme, ensuring every room offers a unique and memorable stay. Throughout their stay, hotel guests have full access to the exclusive amenities of The Club at The Moore. The Club provides a variety of experiences, allowing guests to engage in a social atmosphere unlike any other in the city. Its amenities include a restaurant, dining room, karaoke room, hidden cocktail lounges, game rooms, a library, specialized private dining rooms, a photo booth, a sunroom and The Rabbit Hole, the Club’s late-night speakeasy. Additionally, The Workplace on the third floor offers guests communal access, striking a balance between work and play.
The Hotel at The Moore was designed by Studio Collective, based in Venice, CA, in collaboration with design firm ICRAVE. The new hotel suites on the fourth floor were carefully designed to fit the building’s original footprint within its historic interior. The hotel features unique art and custom furnishings by makers such as Mous, a furniture line from Dallas, Texas, and Sossego, a sustainably-focused collection from Brazil.
