World’s First Yacht-Branded Condo Unveiled in Fort Lauderdale

Prices start at $3.5 million.

WellDuoVertical Developments and GCF Development have partnered with the renowned Italian yacht manufacturer Riva to introduce Riva Residenze, the first-ever residence branded by a yacht maker. This 20-story development in Fort Lauderdale includes 36 exclusive residences across two parcels, featuring 200 linear feet of waterfront and a private marina equipped with boat slips. Fortune Development Sales is handling the exclusive sales and marketing for this project, situated at 3019 Harbor Drive.

“We are thrilled to partner with Riva to bring the superyacht lifestyle ashore in an unprecedented way,” Eduardo Palaez says, WellDuo Co-Founder. “Riva Residenze is designed to deliver larger residences while simultaneously offering an exclusive retreat for discerning buyers along the waterfront, truly embodying the essence of luxury yachting in a residential setting.”

Riva Residenze is the innovative trio’s first venture in Fort Lauderdale, offering residents a unique waterfront lifestyle. Located on Harbor Drive between the Intracoastal Waterway and Fort Lauderdale Beach, this project boasts an exceptional design that provides ocean and waterway views. Residents will enjoy convenient access to top-notch restaurants, chic shopping options, luxurious hotels, art galleries, and prestigious museums.

“The Aquarama revolutionized the idea of going on holiday, experiencing the sea and above all, of being exclusive, establishing a new benchmark for elegance: since then, Riva has been more than simply a boat brand, representing a world of beauty and style that has inspired design, fashion and lifestyle choices,” Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi says. “Riva Residenze takes the Brand’s signature aesthetics – combining mahogany, steel, the colour aquamarine and timeless styling – into the luxury living sector. The quality and focus on detail that have made Riva famous are unique and universal characteristics that increase the value and appeal of every living space.”

Riva Residenze, designed by the acclaimed Arquitectonica, features various design elements inspired by the yachting world. Its distinctive water-themed aesthetic gives it a sleek, modern appearance that echoes the elegance of superyachts. The interior design is led by Giuseppina Arena, a celebrated designer specializing in superyacht interiors. She brings her expertise to the project, incorporating intricate touches and design details reminiscent of Riva’s luxurious vessels. This collaboration creates a seamless blend of comfort and functionality, positioning Riva Residenze as The Superyacht of Waterfront Residences.

Riva Residenze features a selection of residences with three to six bedrooms and two luxurious penthouses ranging from 2,000 to 6,000 square feet. Each residence includes private elevator entrances, soaring ceiling heights of 10 to 14 feet, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that offer abundant natural light. The generous living, dining, and gathering spaces are perfect for relaxation and entertainment.

Placing well-being at the forefront, Riva Residenze boasts a cutting-edge Techno Gym fitness center and a studio dedicated to yoga and pilates. Residents can access a heated spa, lap pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, relaxation lounge, and private treatment area inside the wellness center. There are also cabin suites designed to reflect the elegance of iconic yacht staterooms, perfect for accommodating friends and family. At the top of the residences, the SkyDeck presents breathtaking yacht-like views of the ocean and intracoastal waterway. The Sundeck features a stunning 50-foot infinity pool paired with private cabanas, while the expansive SkyLounge covers 3,400 square feet and includes a gourmet catering kitchen and outdoor seating area.

Embracing the essence of a water-loving lifestyle, Riva Residenze boasts an on-site marina equipped with seven slips for yachts up to 65 feet, featuring a special slip designated for arrivals and departures. The waterfront deck invites relaxation with outdoor seating, hammocks, lounge chairs, and an area for private dining. Additionally, a surf room with an outdoor shower and wet/dry storage is designed for residents who enjoy paddleboarding, kayaking, and more.

“We are thrilled to be the exclusive representative of Riva Residenze,” said Edgardo Defortuna, President and CEO of Fortune International Group.” The extensive development expertise of this team inspires us, and we believe this unique project fulfills a significant market demand for yacht-inspired luxury living in the Yachting Capital of the World.”

The main lobby, featuring vertical landscaping and a stunning view of the marina, provides residents with various luxury concierge services. These services encompass dining reservations, travel assistance, executive services, personal shopping, event planning, private transportation, and tailored requests. As guests enter, they are welcomed by a curated art gallery that exudes sophistication, while the Japanese-inspired meditation garden offers a peaceful haven for both residents and visitors, creating a memorable entrance. Additional amenities include a resident’s lounge, a library, a private cinema, a cigar room, a wine room and a media room equipped with a golf simulator.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico.
