U.S. Development Celebrates Groundbreaking for Salato in Pompano Beach

Attendees included Florida Rep. Chip LaMarca, Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Hardin, Douglas Elliman, Florida CEO Jay Phillip Parker, project architect Randall Stofft, interior designer Steven G., and U.S. Development CEO John Farina and CFO Dustin Salzano.

U.S. Development celebrated the groundbreaking of Salato Pompano Beach, the first boutique ultra-luxury development of its kind situated along the city’s coastline. The event marked a significant milestone for the project and highlighted Salato’s contribution to the ongoing transformation of Pompano Beach into a lively, year-round destination.

Salato has achieved 40% sales even before construction began, drawing interest from local, domestic, and international buyers captivated by the project’s unique blend of privacy, amenities, and lifestyle. With its 40 private residences, spacious oversized terraces, and exceptional amenities, this building distinguishes itself from the other offerings in Pompano Beach.

The project “is truly unique compared to its competition,” Farina told attendees during the event. “It’s remarkable when you only have 40 condominium units to provide this level of amenities and service. It really defines what we’re bringing to Pompano Beach.”

Located at 305 Briny Ave., just opposite the pristine oceanfront of Pompano Beach and a short walk from the Pompano Pier, Salato will feature 40 residences, including six stunning penthouses. Designed by Randall Stofft Architects with interiors by Steven G., these homes boast floor-to-ceiling windows that offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, direct beach access, and over 20,000 square feet of amenities that create an ambiance reminiscent of a world-class luxury resort.

Salato includes 2,700 square feet of retail space along A1A. The developer aims to introduce a popular restaurant concept, adding to the amenities available for Salato residents and the Pompano Beach community.

The residences at Salato vary in size from 2,106 to 3,354 square feet, showcasing open floorplans with spacious living areas. Each unit boasts extensive 14-foot-deep terraces, ranging from 320 to 746 square feet, providing ample space for outdoor gatherings. Salato offers amenities that rival luxury five-star resorts, including an ocean-view pool and spa complete with a separate wet deck and loungers. Residents can enjoy a poolside lounge suite featuring a covered bar and loggia, dry saunas, steam showers, a massage room, a state-of-the-art fitness center and an event space with a private catering kitchen.

Douglas Elliman Development Marketing (DEDM) presides over sales at Salato, with IMI Worldwide in charge of marketing. Prices at Salato begin at just under $2 million. For more information and to schedule a private appointment, visit SalatoResidences.com or contact 954-284-0090. Salato’s sales gallery is located at 3200 E. Atlantic Blvd. – just a few blocks away from the project site.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico.
