Baptist Health Breaks Ground on New Facility in Pembroke Pines

Baptist Health's Pembroke Pines facility will combine outpatient services with emergency and specialty care.

Baptist Health is building a new, 60,865-square-foot medical facility in Pembroke Pines, for which it broke ground on April 23 at 1400 SW 145th Ave. Set to open in early 2027, it will feature a freestanding emergency department, specialties in brain and spine care, heart and vascular care, and primary care, all in one location.

“We’ve been part of here in Broward County for many years and really now it’s bringing our specialties our medical specialties and that access to care that’s so important with a freestanding emergency department and really having that coordination of care that you can have all of these services under one roof and really bringing convenience to the patient,” Baptist Outpatient Services CEO Nancy Batista-Rodriguez said.

Baptist Health is the largest health care organization in the region with 12 hospitals, more than 28,000 employees, 4,500 physicians and 200 outpatient centers, urgent care facilities and physician practices through Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
