The Big Number: 26

Construction is primed to start in November on a condominium project that promises to take luxury residential living to new heights in Broward County. The two 26-story towers that will make up Selene Oceanfront Residences, developed by Kolter Urban, are slated to each rise some 300 feet above sea level—which would make them the tallest buildings along Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Selene will house 196 two- and three-bedroom residences overall, priced from $900,000, with layouts that run between 1,400 square feet and 3,200 square feet. Expect open, modern floor plans with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, Fort Lauderdale skyline—or some combination of those views (seven of the nine floor plans are corner layouts).

Exterior amenities include elevated pool terraces, a resort-style pool, a lap pool, cabanas and day beds, an outdoor kitchen and lounge areas with fire pits. Inside, Selene is planning 5,300 square feet of space for an oceanfront restaurant. The project at 151 N. Seabreeze Blvd. is scheduled for completion by early 2024.
