What has been the biggest accomplishment of your career? Starting Legacy Bank of Florida in 2006 after having successfully sold my prior bank in 2005. Raised over $31 million of capital, the third-largest capital raise for a new bank in the State of Florida. Fast forward to today, Legacy Bank of Florida is now the largest independent bank in Broward and Palm Beach Counties with over $500+ million in assets.
What has been the most challenging moment in your career and how did you overcome it? The bank went through the worst economic recession in 2008-2010 and nearly failed.
