Arkhaus Reveals a Social Club That Literally Floats

Is Soho House a little heavy and earthbound for your taste? In that case, here’s some good news: ArkHaus, the world’s first floating, sustainable, members-only social club is coming to Miami, followed by stops in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Paris, Istanbul and Dubai. ArkHaus is purchasing four Arkup floating mansions that eagle-eyed Miamians might have seen docked by Star Island; the four villas will be connected in a square shape to create a Soho House-style members club on the water that is designed to withstand sea level rise. The club is super-exclusive, with only 360 memberships available, with many already sold out. The vessels are eco-friendly, entirely solar powered and propelled. The vessels will also feature underwater drones that will be testing the toxicity and salinity levels in the water and conducting other ecological research.
