Construction on Luxury Residential Community Development Begins in Miami

The residences will offer custom finishes and lavish amenities centered around indoor-outdoor living.

The construction of Bay Harbor Towers, an eight-story waterfront condominium in Miami, has commenced. The joint project of PPG Development and L3C Capital Partners aims to provide an exceptional living space for a highly interested buyer community. Representatives from PPG, Fortune Development Sales, general contractor Civic Construction, Bay Harbor Islands city officials and other guests gathered for a ceremony to commemorate the start of the construction. The Fortune team present at the event comprised Edgardo Defortuna, president and CEO of Fortune International Group; Carmen Casadella, VP of Sales and Jennie King, VP of Marketing & Communications.

“This groundbreaking is the next step in delivering the most exciting project in Bay Harbor Islands,” says Ari Pearl, founder of PPG Development, one of South Florida’s most active developers specializing in commercial and residential development with a project pipeline exceeding $2 billion. “Our buyers will discover stunning spacious residences with ocean and bay views, modern architecture and unmatched amenities package with a private marina, all at an address that brings quality of life to their doorstep.”

Miami Residential Community

Bay Harbor Towers at 10141 East Bay Harbor Drive in Miami’s Bay Harbor Islands residential community has experienced significant interest since commencing sales in late 2023. More than 50% of the residences have been sold thus far and the remaining units are available starting at $2.6 million. The expected delivery date is in 2026.

The property’s unique design results from a collaboration between renowned architect Kobi Karp, interior designer Interiors by Steven G, and landscape architect CLAD. The 44 spacious open-concept floor plans, designed with floor-to-ceiling glass and multiple terraces, provide an ideal indoor-outdoor living experience. Featuring two to four bedrooms, the residences offer private and semi-private elevator access to personal foyers. Additionally, unobstructed east- and west-facing terraces provide breathtaking views of the Atlantic at sunrise and Biscayne Bay at sunset.

Owners can indulge in fully-equipped chef’s kitchens featuring oak cabinetry with intricate fluted details, brushed brass fittings, and dolomite stone countertops and backsplashes. Wine fridges, oversized workstation sinks and gas stoves are available for culinary enthusiasts. The bathrooms showcase custom double vanities with marble countertops, porcelain flooring, full-height glass-enclosed showers, and oversized sculptural soaking tubs. The individual residences vary from 1,857 square feet to 4,902 square feet.

The entire project in the residential community is designed to promote a healthy and inspired lifestyle. The wellness center is comparable to a five-star spa, featuring hot and cold plunge pools, a sauna, a steam room and state-of-the-art fitness equipment by Paragon Studio. The full-length indoor and outdoor lap pools and the rooftop tropical garden offer unique amenities for condo living.

“We have been extremely pleased with the pace of sales at Bay Harbor Towers, and now with construction underway, I am confident we’ll see demand accelerate,” says Defortuna.  “Our sophisticated buyers are attracted to the exclusive lifestyle we are offering, where every design element in the building is meant to enhance and elevate their daily lives.”
