It has become a No. 1 bestseller on Amazon.

Some attribute success to a combination of hard work and luck, while others believe a winning formula exists. Colin C. Campbell’s new book, Start. Scale. Exit. Repeat.: Serial Entrepreneurs’ Secrets Revealed! shares his wealth of experience as a serial entrepreneur who has built companies with a combined valuation of over $1 billion. In the book, Campbell takes readers through his various business ventures and the lessons he has learned. The comprehensive guide includes interviews with industry experts, pointing readers in the right direction on their entrepreneurial journey to help them answer the questions they will encounter.

In his book, Campbell has divided the content into four sections that mirror the four crucial stages of entrepreneurship – start, scale, exit, and repeat. The book includes practical tips and significant takeaways for each stage. The chapters are brief and pragmatic and offer an approach supported by real-life experiences.

The book offers readers valuable insights and practical advice on laying a strong foundation for future ventures if they are aspiring entrepreneurs. Established entrepreneurs can benefit from unique strategies and time-tested methods for systematically building, scaling, and exiting businesses to maximize returns and take their business acumen to the next level. The book also guides existing entrepreneurs on successfully transitioning to their next venture.

The entrepreneur has been involved in serial entrepreneurship for over three decades. He has founded and expanded various Internet businesses, which together have achieved a value of almost $1 billion. Campbell has successfully managed the exits of companies such as Tucows Interactive, Internet Direct Canada, Hostopia, GeeksForLess, and .CLUB Domains, earning himself a reputation as a startup specialist and a long list of accolades, including being featured on the Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000 lists for several years in a row. He is a highly sought-after speaker in entrepreneurship and has delivered speeches at several prestigious universities and events. Additionally, he is the leader of Startup Club, which has nearly one million members who continue to learn from his experiences as he interviews experts, authors, and serial entrepreneurs.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
