Greater Fort Lauderdale Chosen as Host of IPW 2026 by U.S. Travel Association

The business event serves as a crucial driving force, bringing about significant economic growth and job opportunities for the region.

In 2026, the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center will host IPW, U.S. Travel’s leading international inbound travel trade show and the largest generator of travel to the U.S. The event will be held from May 18 to May 22, 2026, and will occur at various regional locations. This marks the first time Greater Fort Lauderdale will be the host site for IPW.

IPW is a trade event that prioritizes business and facilitates over 90,000 pre-scheduled business appointments that connect several thousand U.S. travel suppliers with 1,600 global travel buyers and press. More than 5,000 travel professionals from over 60 countries participate in this event. The past IPWs have been highly successful and have generated more than $5.5 billion in future travel to the United States.

“We are delighted to share that Greater Fort Lauderdale has been chosen as the host city for IPW in 2026,” Stacy Ritter says, president and CEO of Visit Lauderdale, the official destination marketing organization for Greater Fort Lauderdale. “This opportunity will bring global attention and create a substantial economic impact, benefiting local businesses and enhancing the appeal of our destination. We look forward to warmly welcoming visitors globally, inviting them to explore Greater Fort Lauderdale’s rich experiences.”
