School Supplies for a Cruise Surprise

BrightStar’s August Giveaway Has Heart

BrightStar Credit Union continues to show their commitment to education, they are excited to announce a meaningful way to give back to the community and the chance for five participants to win a cruise getaway! From August 1- 31, 2025, they are launching a social media campaign to support students and teachers in Broward County Public Schools. 

Here is how to get involved:

  • Donate school supplies to the Broward Education Foundation’s School Supply Drive. Supplies can be dropped off at any BrightStar branch during the month of August. Supplies include notebook paper, glue sticks, pencil pouches, pencils, composition books, folders, and hand sanitizer. 
  • Follow and tag @BrightStarCU on social media 
  • Sign up for BrightStar Credit Union membership during August (it’s free to apply) 

At the end of the month, five lucky winners will be randomly chosen to win a cruise getaway.

BrightStar Credit Union is proud to team up with the Broward Education Foundation, the only 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping students and teachers in Broward County. Their annual school supply drive is the biggest back-to-school event in the area and helps thousands of students start the year off strong.
