Transit-Oriented Multifamily Development Receives Approval in Hialeah

The city of Hialeah recently approved building Metro Station, a 55-unit transit-oriented multifamily community at 2691 East 11th Ave. adjacent to the Metrorail and Tri-Rail Transfer Station. MG Developer’s Senior Vice President Diego Torrealba, and FC&E’s Chief Executive Officer Johnny Dao, acquired the 12,000-square-foot parcel of land in 2022, the first joint venture between these companies.

This will be MG’s third multifamily project in Hialeah, complementing their existing project, Metro Parc, a 10-story, 559-unit, two-tower mixed-use apartment rental community located at 955 East 25th Street and 980 East 26th Street, as well as Metro Parc North, a 620-unit multifamily building located in the block directly to the north of Metro Parc.

“Hialeah is quickly emerging as a modern city,” Diego Torrealba says, Senior Vice President at MG Developer. “Our plan is focused on adding high-quality rental opportunities in areas that are close in proximity to transit systems. We are extremely proud to be collaborating with the city to bring this quality of housing to Hialeah. It’s perfect for professionals that want to avoid daily commutes in traffic who work near transient hubs. Our goal is to continue building living spaces that are appealing to professionals and that provide modern-day conveniences.”

The project developers continue collaborating with city officials to bring multifamily projects near public transportation systems in Miami to alleviate traffic congestion and promote a commuter lifestyle. It will also be a short distance from Hialeah Medical Services, Hialeah’s Arts District, Amelia Earhart Park, and 15 minutes from Miami International Airport.

MG Developer is a residential property development company headquartered in Coral Gables led by Venezuelan native Alirio Torrealba. The company provides various real estate-oriented services, from concept creation and property site selection to project advancement.
