Tour Pulte Homes’ Two Furnished Models at Emory in Plantation

The new-construction townhomes start in the mid $500,000s.

Pulte Homes has recently announced an open invitation for the public to visit its latest residential community in the heart of Plantation. The national home builder has launched two furnished models at Emory, a new development that provides 86 townhomes located near the intersection of N. Pine Island Road and Cleary Boulevard. The prices for these homes start from the mid $500,000s.

“There are very few new homes being built in Plantation and considering the price point and central location of Emory, we expect it to be very well received by buyers,” Brent Baker says, PulteGroup’s Southeast Florida Division President. “Pre-sales have been very strong and now that model units are open, I anticipate that momentum to accelerate as we close out 2023.”

Pulte Homes has recently launched four new floor plans for its Emory community. These plans include Seacrest, Seacrest Grand, Grayton, and Grayton Grand. The Grayton floor plan is 1,657 square feet and consists of three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a two-car garage. It features a connected gourmet kitchen, café, and gathering room, making it ideal for those who love entertaining. The Seacrest floor plan is 1,816 square feet and has three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a one-car garage. The first floor of this plan has an open-concept gathering area, while all the bedrooms are located on the second floor. The Grayton Grand and Seacrest Grand plans allow buyers to extend the Grayton and Seacrest floor plans with a back porch.

Prospective homeowners of a new residential community called Emory will have access to various amenities such as a swimming pool, an outdoor recreation area with shaded pavilions, and a dog park. The community will also offer high-speed internet service as part of the homeowner’s association dues. Located near popular shopping and dining establishments, Emory is close to a large city park with tennis and pickleball courts, fitness trails, and a regional library. Emory is part of a 25-acre mixed-use development known as Midtown Square, formerly an American Express office campus. The development plans for over 24,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and a residential component.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
