Pickleball with a Purpose

Transworld Business Advisors Brings Fun and Community to Local Kids

In the world of fast-paced sports and rising trends, pickleball has carved out a unique niche, becoming one of the most talked-about games across generations. But for Transworld Business Advisors, it’s not just about the game—it’s about making a real, lasting impact in the community. This is exactly what they set out to do when they teamed up with The FORT and the Salvation Army of Broward County to host a pickleball clinic for local kids at The FORT Pickleball Club in Fort Lauderdale.

On Monday, July 28, nearly 50 excited campers from the Salvation Army’s summer day camp were given the chance to learn the fundamentals of pickleball from professional instructors. For many of the kids, this was their first exposure to the game, and what better way to learn than from the experts at a world-class pickleball facility?

Pickleball has become one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, and it’s easy to see why. Combining elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, pickleball is an accessible, fast-paced game that’s perfect for all ages. But for Transworld Business Advisors, this clinic was about more than just picking up a paddle. The company, which specializes in business brokerage, is committed to using its resources for more than just business growth. This event marked the next chapter in Transworld’s ongoing efforts to engage with and give back to the community.

“We’re committed to supporting programs that positively impact young people’s lives, and we believe pickleball can do just that,” said Andy Cagnetta, CEO of Transworld Business Advisors. “It’s about building a community, fostering teamwork, and encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle.”

The day wasn’t just about learning the game—it was about learning lessons that extend far beyond the pickleball court. From building teamwork to promoting active living, the clinic served as a reminder of the importance of fitness, social connection, and giving back. It’s an initiative that highlights how something as simple as a sport can bring people together, teach valuable life skills, and foster a sense of belonging.

Transworld’s team was actively involved throughout the event, from Marty Fishman welcoming the campers to Jake Tobin distributing gift bags. The enthusiasm of the Transworld team was infectious, further emphasizing the company’s commitment to positively impacting local communities.

While the campers honed their pickleball skills, they also gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of giving back to their communities. And it’s clear that Transworld Business Advisors sees this as just the beginning. As the brand continues to champion pickleball and other community initiatives, they are proving that business success isn’t just about transactions—it’s about making a tangible difference where it counts the most.

As pickleball’s popularity continues to rise, it’s refreshing to see a global business like Transworld leverage its reach and influence to bring such a simple but profound message to life: community matters, teamwork matters, and most importantly, we all can make a positive impact. Whether through sport, business, or philanthropy, the lessons learned today are sure to resonate for years to come.
