Construction of Single-Family Home Development Begins in Southwest Ranches

The building of AKAI Estates, a 44-acre development in Southwest Ranches, is underway after a recent ceremony to celebrate the groundbreaking. The development will comprise 16 luxury estates featuring cutting-edge amenities and ultramodern styling in a fully gated community at 4730 Akai Drive.

The first home to enter the project’s building phase is owned by Prasad Hedge, a COO with 777 Partners in Miami. The real estate market in South Florida for single-family homes remains in high demand, with luxury buyers and wealthy investors pacing the market.

“It is a dream come true to break ground at AKAI Estates and bring our vision to life,” Alex Yokana says, Developer of AKAI Estates. “Our goal is to bring luxury to one of South Florida’s most sought-after residential havens, Southwest Ranches while continuing to meet the demand as a response to the single-family home shortage.”

The AKAI Estates community offers five different residential floor plans delivered on two acres of private property. Each estate includes an aquatic entertainment area and is highly customizable with the ability to add on features, including putting greens, tennis/pickle-ball courts, or even a basketball court. The properties are being developed by Alex Yokana, Jairo Vela, and Amos and Michael Sochaczevski. The Bento Queiroz team under Compass is the exclusive sales team for development, with prices starting at $8 million. For more information, please visit www.akaiestates.com.
