Breaking News: Lifestyle Media Group is Honored by the FMA at the Charlie Awards

South Florida Business & Wealth and Tampa Bay Business & Wealth Win First-Place Awards.

South Florida Business & Wealth (sfbwmag.com) scored a first-place Charlie Award for Best Overall Design, after winning a Silver Award in the same category in 2022.

The three monthly magazines published by Lifestyle Media Group (LMG) earned a combined five awards at the annual industry competition hosted by the Florida Magazine Association.

Tampa Bay Business & Wealth (tbbwmag.com), competing in the B2B division, captured a Silver Award in the prestigious Best Overall Magazine category and a first-place Charlie Award for Best Feature. And Las Olas Lifestyle (lmgfl.com), competing in the Consumer division, was honored with a Silver Award for Best Feature Writing and a Bronze Award for Best Cover Photography.

“Writing, design and photography are the three pillars of magazine publishing and, as the owners of these three stellar titles, we are beyond proud of the company’s achievements in all these areas,” said Bill Babcox, CEO of Babcox Media, LMG’s parent company. “We’re gratified that the Florida Magazine Association has recognized the outstanding work of our creative teams, based in Fort Lauderdale and Tampa. These magazines have a rich history of winning prizes from the FMA but this year we’ve expanded our dominance in key categories.”

LMG publishes South Florida Business & Wealth, Tampa Bay Business & Wealth and a suite of seven Lifestyle publications: Las Olas Lifestyle, Weston Lifestyle, West Broward Lifestyle (serving Plantation, Davie, Pembroke Pines and West Miramar), Parkland/Coral Springs Lifestyle (also serving Coconut Creek), Boca Raton/Delray Beach Lifestyle, Doral Lifestyle (also serving Pinecrest and Coral Gables) and Aventura Lifestyle (also serving Hallandale Beach and Sunny Isles). LMG also publishes the annual directory South Florida Legal Guide, a South Florida Business & Wealth product.

The Charlie Awards were announced at a dinner gala on July 21st, during the 2023 Florida Media Conference, held at The Westin Sarasota.
