Jack & Jill Center Continues Charitable Ventures 

At its 16th Annual MEDNAX Flip Flops on the Docks casual soirée, the Friends of Jack & Jill Center in Fort Lauderdale generated $367,000 for needy children and families in the area. Over 400 guests attended the yearly fundraiser at the newly renovated Lauderdale Yacht Club.

“This popular casual soirée was a great success, and we are very happy to have raised $367,000 for children and families in need. Our deepest gratitude goes to the event’s sponsors for helping us make it happen,” says Heather SiskindCEO of Jack & Jill Center.

For nearly 80 years, the Jack & Jill Center has helped over 20,000 local youth through education and support forums and community outreach. The Friends of Jack & Jill Center was created in 1999 to assist the center in charitable endeavors through financial support and volunteer opportunities. The organizations have produced more than $4.25 million for charitable ventures through philanthropic events.
