Sabal Development Acquires Miami Property for Construction of Two Upscale Residences on Biscayne Bay

In the last two years, custom-built homes valued at over $146 million have been built and sold by Sabal Development and Sabal Luxury Builder.

Sabal Development, an award-winning builder and developer, recently closed on a home on Miami’s luxurious Belle Meade Island. The Miami-based company has plans to demolish the current structure and construct two luxury residences on the divided lot. The property spans 38,000 square feet and boasts stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway, with immediate boat access to Biscayne Bay.

Viola Watson of Douglas Elliman represented the seller, while Juliet Silver of One Sotheby’s represented Sabal Development and its chief executive officer, Pascal Nicolai. The sale, which amounted to $4.6 million, was successfully closed on April 27.

“We are excited about the potential of these two properties because of their unique location directly on Biscayne Bay,” Nicolai says, Founder and CEO of Sabal Development. “Our plan is to provide two impressive, modern residences that fit in well in the highly sought-after Miami neighborhood.”

The two-story home located on Lot A will boast a spacious living area of 6,238 square feet. The house will offer five bedrooms and five bathrooms, featuring balcony views of the Intracoastal. It will also have a four-car garage, a jacuzzi, and a pool that overlooks a 107-foot seawall with a boat dock. Similarly, the residence situated on Lot B will also span two stories, boasting 6,067 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, and five bathrooms. It will come with a two-car garage, a balcony that overlooks a pool, and 93 feet of seawall with a boat dock. Both homes are meticulously planned and designed with state-of-the-art finishes and top-of-the-line appliances. They will feature modern, open-concept living spaces and outdoor entertainment areas with a built-in barbecue and wet bar.

Sabal Development is a custom home builder that strives to comprehend its clients’ distinct requirements and lifestyles. Sabal Luxury Builder, its construction company, works with engineers, architects, and designers from the beginning to the end of a project.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.
