SFBW and Neuvana Join Forces to Lead Health Care Discussion

The past few weeks have amply illustrated the full range of our capabilities, as we launched the revised version of our newsletter; now called Rarefied; are finalizing the redesign of our website, sfbwmag.com; pulled off a successful webinar (to be released soon); saw our editor-in-chief Drew Limsky make a noted appearance on the local NPR affiliate, to discuss the banking convulsions; dazzle with a live evening event starring March cover star Tamara Rodriguez; and—last, but not least—host a provocative and edifying breakfast meeting focusing on stress reduction in general, and Xen by Neuvana—a treatment program devised by CEO Ami Brannon—in particular.

Topics included:

  • the need to refocus on self-care in the wake of the COVID pandemic
  • electroceuticals and how they enhance calmness and rejuvenation
  • technology and well-being
  • innovative Xen technology
  • how stimulating the vagus nerve can enhance sleep, boost mood, improve focus and knock out stress; and
  • noninvasive ways to enhance the quality of life

We were thrilled by the overflow turnout and the engagement of the roundtable participants. The event, helmed by Limsky and Brannon, demonstrated what SFBW does best: leading penetrating discussions and facilitating connections that matter.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”96399,96398,96397,96396,96395,96394,96393,96392,96391,96390,96389,96388,96387,96386,96385,96384,96383,96382,96381,96380,96379,96378,96377,96376,96375,96374,96373,96372,96371,96370,96369,96368,96367,96366,96365,96362,96400,96401,96402,96403,96404,96405″ column_number=”2″ grayscale=”no” images_space=”gallery_without_space”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
