The Business of Design: DCOTA Spring Market Hosts Industry-Leading Panel

“The Intricacy of Design Across Diversified Industries” event brings together top South Florida leaders on March 12.

The Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) has long been an iconic design destination and revered for its bi-annual Market events that attract designers, architects, decorators and their clients from around the world. Each Market features a variety of design-centric activations including renowned keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions, continuing education classes and in-showroom demonstrations and product debuts – which fosters shared resources and experiences, and cutting-edge industry news.

The annual DCOTA Spring Market, DCOTA will debut its new philosophy, “Everything by Design.” To embrace the opportunity of welcoming patrons from diverse industries and services, DCOTA is hosting a unique panel discussion with some of South Florida’s most influential and forward-thinking business leaders.

The panel discussion “The Intricacy of Design Across Diversified Industries,” will be an engaging conversation about how design impacts every professional trade. From the literal design of commercial and residential structures and office spaces incorporating interior design, architecture, construction, and developers. To the figurative design of creating mutually beneficial partnerships that foster business relationships and economic growth within in the South Florida market. The panel, enthusiastically sponsored by Lifestyle Media Group, will be Moderated by Stephanie Toothaker, Chairwoman & Chief Strategist of Toothaker.org. Featured panelists include Alan Hooper,  Co-Founder of Urban Street Development; Bob Swindell, President and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance; Kobi Karp, Founder and Principal of Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design, Inc (KKAID), and Steven Gurowitz, President & CEO of Interiors by Steven G. Highlights include a networking reception, and VIP preview of the Zero Empty Spaces artist installation at DCOTA.

“The Intricacy of Design Across Diversified Industries” panel takes place on Wednesday March 12th at 4pm. Admission is complimentary, but guests must register HERE. DCOTA is open to the public, offers ample complimentary guest parking and is located at 1855 Griffin Road in Dania Beach, FL.

Now DCOTA is entering a new era, where it remains the epicenter of luxury design resources, but appeals to clientele outside of the traditional design trade – welcoming business leaders from varying industries and design enthusiasts (the general public). And while DCOTA is known for its class-A office spaces, it is also becoming synonymous with premier event venue space. Explore more at www.DCOTA.com.
