Waldorf Astoria Residences Break Ground in Pompano Beach with 70 Percent of Homes Under Contract

The Residences will feature 92 exclusive condominium homes.

Real estate developers Related Group and Merrimac Ventures, alongside hospitality leader Hilton, celebrated the groundbreaking for the Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach last week, Waldorf Astoria’s first ever standalone residential project making its debut in Broward County. The project, which features 92 exclusive condominium homes, is already more than 70 percent sold. Nestled on a coveted two-acre oceanfront site, The Residences will feature 92 exclusive condominium homes. The property pulls back the curtain on Pompano Beach as a hidden gem among luxury destinations, offering world-class design spearheaded by Nichols Architects in collaboration with KORA, BAMO and Enea Landscape; and a comprehensive suite of resort-inspired amenities and services, meticulously managed by Waldorf Astoria.

“This groundbreaking marks a major milestone, not only for our project but also in Pompano Beach’s emergence as the region’s next premier luxury destination,” said Nick Pérez, President of Related’s Condominium Division. “Pompano Beach’s transformation results from years of thoughtful private development and public investment. Our vision extends beyond The Residences, to shaping a community that blends understated sophistication with a deep connection to its coastal surroundings.”

Life at The Residences is seamlessly connected to the ocean, with residents enjoying exclusive access to 200 linear feet of pristine beachfront and a private marina with nearly two dozen boat slips. The 20,000-square-foot oceanfront pool deck epitomizes the property’s waterfront lifestyle, enhanced by a private spa, an outdoor bar and dining lounge, and summer kitchens. Beyond its stunning outdoor spaces, The Residences boasts more than 15,000 square feet of curated indoor amenities and an extensive list of resident services.

Wellness-focused offerings include a state-of-the-art fitness center and a dedicated movement studio, as well as an on-site spa with private treatment rooms and His and Her sauna and steam rooms. For entertainment and leisure, the property features a ground-floor dining concept, a billiards lounge, a children’s entertainment center and a multi-sport simulator.
“As Hilton continues to expand its residential portfolio, we are honored to partner in bringing Waldorf Astoria’s first-ever branded residences to life,” said Jonathan Wingo, global head of residential programs at Hilton. “By combining Waldorf Astoria’s legacy of excellence with our deep expertise in world-class service and hospitality, The Residences redefine private homeownership and set a new benchmark for luxury condominium living.”

Delivering the legendary Waldorf Astoria experience, the property’s signature 24/7 resident services include in-residence dining, personalized concierge, and dedicated beach and poolside service. The property will also showcase an array of museum-quality artwork from the renowned Jorge M. Pérez Contemporary Art Collection.

“Our family has controlled this standout site for over a decade, and always knew it deserved something truly extraordinary,” said Dev Motwani, CEO of Merrimac Ventures. “As we break ground, I’m proud to say we’re honoring that vision, offering an unparalleled lifestyle backed by the legendary Waldorf Astoria. It’s been incredible to see the market’s reception, with buyers helping us cross the 70-percent mark in such a short period.”

The 28-story tower comprises homes ranging from two to five bedrooms spanning 2,100 to 6,100 square feet. Each residence boasts private elevator access, floor-to-ceiling windows and oversized balconies with panoramic Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway views.

For those looking for an even more elevated lifestyle, The Residences offers four masterfully designed penthouse residences ranging from $16 million to $20 million.  These expansive homes embody the ultimate in coastal living, with 70 linear feet of uninterrupted ocean views and wraparound terraces that showcase panoramic vistas of the ocean, Intracoastal Waterway and the vibrant Pompano Beach skyline. The two upper penthouses, perched on the 27th and 28th floors, feature sweeping 3,200- to 3,500-square-foot rooftop terraces, complete with air-conditioned entertainment spaces, summer kitchens and private pools.
