Desai Foundation Hosts Holi Celebration in Miami

The aim is to raise awareness and support for health, livelihood, and menstrual equity programs in India.

The upcoming Holi event in Miami, hosted by The Desai Foundation, is a distinctive celebration that sets itself apart from the typical Holi festivities. It is a vibrant gathering of like-minded individuals who support a noble cause. The Desai Foundation has invited the community to join them in capturing the essence of this joyous occasion, where the colors of Holi signify not just festivities but also the promise of joy and hope for communities in need.

The Desai Foundation is a public programmatic nonprofit organization that aims to empower women and children in rural India. With 25 years of dedicated service, the foundation operates in eight states and runs 30 programs focusing on health, livelihood, and menstrual equity.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. on March 1 at The Sagamore at 1671 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach. Tickets are priced at $250 and the night offers an open bar with wine, cocktails, and dinner. Enjoy electrifying fusion mashups of DJ O Fresh from the heart of New York City, who will set the stage on fire. Holi is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love and Spring. At the event, participants can flaunt their Desi best without the concern of colorful stains. They can be assured of a unique installation from Kulture Khazana that allows them to enjoy vibrant colors without worrying about any stains on their clothes, resulting in unforgettable and lively memories.
