Miami Marlins Set to Kick Off Much-Awaited 2024 Season

The team will host the Pittsburgh Pirates for the home opener on March 28.

The Miami Marlins are looking to capitalize on their surprise playoff appearance in 2023 as they prepare to commence the 2024 season with a return to LoanDepot Park for the Opening Weekend against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday, March 28. During Opening Weekend, fans are invited to come out and support their team while enjoying numerous promotions. The Marlins plan to give 2024 Magnet Schedules to the first 10,000 fans and rally towels to the first 30,000 fans as part of their 2024 fan giveaways.

In 2023, the Marlins finished with an 84-78 record, which secured them a playoff spot for the first time in 20 years during a regular-length season. Even after losing in the wild-card round to the Philadelphia Phillies in the previous year, the team’s core players are set to return with high hopes of making the most of their success in 2023.

The home opener will be followed by games on Friday at 7:10 p.m., Saturday at 4:10 p.m., and Sunday at 1:40 p.m. For special ticket pricing during the four-game homestand, visit Fevo-enterprise.com/group/Southflorida6.
