Here are the biographies for the second to last category: The Chief Executive Officer honorees
CEO honoree for Miami-Dade: Javier Holtz, Marquis Bank
Holtz was named chairman of the board and CEO in 2010. He has more than 20 years’ experience with state- and nationally chartered banks. He has served in various executive positions, including president of Capital Factors and executive vice president, regional senior credit officer and chief credit officer of Union Planters Bank.
He joined Union Planters Bank in 1998, after it acquired Capital Bank, where he served in various positions.
Under Holtz’s leadership, Marquis Bank has seen consecutive profitable quarters and assets reaching more than $300 million. In April 2014, the U.S. Treasury Department reported Marquis Bank achieved the largest increase in qualifying small business loans among 14 Florida banks, and ranked fifth in the country out of 298 institutions.
He also serves as vice mayor of Indian Creek Village, and has served as a councilman there since March 2008. He is involved with the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
CEO honoree for Broward: Bob Roscioli, Roscioli Yachting Center, Inc.
Roscioli began his career in the marine industry in 1962 and, within a year, developed the painting technique that launched his world-renowned companies, Roscioli Yachting Center and Roscioli Donzi Yachts. Today, he applies his experience, technical knowledge and standards into all facets of custom yacht building and maintenance.
He personally checks each project step-by-step, ensuring quality and craftsmanship standards. In 1986, he became a dealer for Donzi Marine’s yacht division. Within a year, he acquired Donzi Yachts and built the first 65-foot Roscioli Donzi yacht.
Roscioli Yachting Center is a state-of-the-art, full-service facility spanning more than 14 acres and employing 100. The yard is a beehive of activity with him at the helm, and to this day he meets his staff in the yard at 7 a.m. His wife, Sharon, and their children, Heather and Robert, work side-by-side at the center.
CEO honoree for Palm Beach: Janna Ronert, Image Skincare
The company’s founder and CEO is an acclaimed international speaker on health and beauty. She is an advocate for public service, and a mother, and travels the world promoting her message of healthy skin and wellness.
When she’s not traveling, she regularly collaborates with celebrated chemists at Image Skincare’s Palm Beach County headquarters.
In 2012, she received an Ernst & Young’s “EY Entrepreneur of the Year” award. Her founding philosophies of simplicity, value and results are still the paramount philosophies of Image Skincare today. As she watches her company grow, she looks forward to the future and to helping the world “age later,” as her organization’s philosophy goes.
