Breaking News: Brightline Forms Partnership With Orlando Health

The intercity rail service will begin Miami to Orlando itineraries on Sept. 22.

Brightline has reached a multi-year partnership with Orlando Health to become the official health and wellness partner of Brightline Orlando and the station naming partner. The partnership aims to elevate community engagement by connecting Florida’s first higher-speed rail with one of the state’s top nonprofit healthcare providers. The collaboration of Brightline’s network with Orlando Health’s extensive care network is expected to simplify the patient journey and provide a new level of healthcare access for residents, visitors, medical professionals and caregivers throughout the region. The Orlando station will be formally named Brightline Orlando Station in partnership with Orlando Health.

“The Central Florida community has embraced Brightline and the world-class team at Orlando Health truly represents the very best in both healthcare and corporate citizenship across this region, creating a perfect fit as our Orlando station naming partner,” Johanna Rojas says, Brightline Senior Vice President of Partnerships and Sales. “We are proud to make Orlando our Central Florida home as we celebrate this exciting partnership.”

Through the partnership, Orlando Health will be represented at Brightline Orlando station on Brightline collateral, digital platforms and Orlando Health branded trains. Additionally, Orlando Health will bring its extensive care network and involvement in initiatives across Central Florida to the partnership, which Brightline will leverage as the company develops its corporate social responsibility initiatives in the region. A formal partnership unveiling is planned for next month as Brightline increases its 16 round-trip train schedules between Central and South Florida.

” With this union of Orlando Health and Brightline, we are bridging the gap between well-being and mobility,” Andrew Snyder says, Orlando Health Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “The partnership will provide easy access to thousands of patients who travel to the area to receive care across our comprehensive healthcare system while also supporting Central Florida’s first high-speed rail system. We’re excited to be a part of this trailblazing agreement.”

The Orlando Station of Brightline has been meticulously designed with the modern traveler in mind. Occupying an area of 37,350 square feet, the station is located within Orlando International Airport’s new Train Station facility, which spans 80,000 square feet and is adjacent to Terminal C. In less than five minutes, it offers direct access to the other airport terminals A and B, through the airport Terminal Link (an automated people mover). The Train Station is also linked directly to the airport’s Parking Garage C. It will provide Brightline’s first and last-mile service, known as Brightline+, which is specifically tailored to the unique needs of Orlando visitors.
