Art Basel 2023 Fashion Extravaganza: Four Days of Style and Glamour

Four days of iconic fashion shows and parties are set to take place next month during Art Basel from Dec. 7 to 10, as Art Hearts Fashion eagerly prepares to celebrate creativity, fashion, and art during the world’s largest global art festival.

On Dec. 7, a grand saga is set to unfold at Fabel Miami Rooftop (50 NW 23 Str., Miami, FL). Attendees can expect to experience a VIP dinner party and fashion show under the stars as For the Stars Fashion House by Jacob Meir, who has previously dressed A-List celebrities, presents a new collection of thought-provoking fashion ensembles. The exhibition includes outfits worn by Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Akon, Toni Braxton, Lil Kim, Niecy Nash, and many more. Everyone is welcome to join the event at 9 p.m. on Dec. 7 and celebrate fashion and dreams as AHF weaves them together. 

On December 8, the journey continues at Kiki on The River (450 NW North River Drive, Miami, FL, 33128). As the moonlight reflects on the river, witness risqué & fresh runway shows from Lila NikoleMister Triple XBlack Tape Project by Drakhan Blackhart, and Pink Melon Swimwear. Immerse yourself in the boho-chic atmosphere, where Greek food and fashion will enchant you from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. 

Attendees can continue their journey on Dec. 8 at Kiki on The River, located at 450 NW North River Drive in Miami. The river will be illuminated by moonlight as guests witness risqué and fresh runway shows by Lila Nikole, Mister Triple X, Black Tape Project by Drakhan Blackhart, and Pink Melon Swimwear. The boho-chic atmosphere will immerse guests in an enchanted experience of Greek food and fashion from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The enchanting finale will take place on Dec. 9 at High Bar, situated at Dream South Beach Rooftop/Naked Taco (1111 Collins Ave.). The guests will have a chance to experience the sleek 70’s inspired rooftop pool lounge, which offers a stunning view of South Beach. The event’s highlight will be the runway shows from Morfium Fashion, Love For Upcycling, and Richerette by Club Kid Richie Rich. Attendees will be transported to a bygone era as they witness the magic of Richie Rich’s 2000s-era collection.

As the enchanting week of Art Basel draws to a close, attendees are invited by Art Hearts Fashion to the grand finale aboard The Vessel, Miami’s only floating experiential venue. On Sunday, Dec. 10, guests can join in mid-day for a swimwear and resort wear party featuring the top designer summer collections, accompanied by a live DJ set and a bar experience to wind down the Art Basel experience in perfect Miami style — amidst the sun, the sea, and the magical allure of The Vessel. With limited tickets available and the event being by RSVP only, attendees must not miss the chance to be part of this fairytale finale, where imagination meets the horizon for an unforgettable closing chapter on the seas. Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
