The Dalmar, part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, combines the tropical South Florida environment with a California mid-century vibe. DoveHill Capital Management, one of the developers, conceptualized the project, which it developed with Wurzak Hotel Group. The developers used the DesignAgency, which has offices in Toronto, Barcelona and Los Angeles for interior design and architectural concepting. It utilized layers of textures and finishes, splashes of vibrant color and contemporary art. The 209 rooms, including 33 suites, feature iPad technology, keyless room entry and in-room Amazon Alexa automation. The rooms are outfitted in neutral tones, rich leathers, natural woods and marble bathrooms.
