Leasing begins for Waterline Miami River

Another waterfront opportunity is awaiting those wanting to move to Miami.

Investment and development firm Mast Capital and AEW Capital Management recently launched leasing for Waterline Miami River, a multifamily complex featuring 1,000 linear feet of unobstructed water frontage on the Miami River. The prime location gives easy access to the heart of Miami as it’s a mile and a half from downtown, two miles from Brickell and a half mile from the Miami Health District.

Miami-based architecture and urban planning firm Corwil Architects crafted the 346-unit project to make good use of its surroundings and open space, giving residents a one-acre landscaped “backyard” with dog park, children’s playground and recreational area, and access to the public River Walk.

“With tenants seeking outdoor amenities, a resort-style lifestyle and a differentiated product, we believe this apartment community will create an attractive living environment that will resonate with future occupants,” said Camilo Miguel Jr., CEO of Mast Capital, which is based in Miami and is known for projects such as Conrad Brickell. “The delivery of the Waterline Miami River and extension of the public River Walk continues to further anchor and activate this exciting neighborhood.”

Studios start at $1,460 per month and 483 square feet. Other options include two-bedrooms from 939 square feet and three-bedrooms from 1,255 square feet. Features include European kitchens with island counters, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, frameless glass showers, custom European walk-in closets, Nest thermostats, energy-efficient washer and dryers, expansive private balconies, and wine coolers in select units.

Rounding out the resort-style living experience are over 20,000 square feet of amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center with Echelon and Hydrow equipment, pool area with lounges and outdoor grills, tech hub with flexible office space and conference rooms, a game room with billiards, sports lounge, bike room with repair station, pet spa with wash station, motion studio and more.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran.
