Palm Beach mansion sells for $40.7 million

A waterfront estate recently sold for $20 million below the asking price, reports The Real Deal.

According to public records, the home at 1330 S. Ocean Blvd. was sold by Sunshine Estate Partners, based in Switzerland, to 1330 South Ocean LLC, based in Delaware, for $40.7 million. It had been listed at $56.5 million in October on Realtor.com. The sellers are European businessman Gerald Herz and his wife, Isabelle.

Linda A. Gary of Linda A. Gary Real Estate represented the sellers. Lawrence Moens of Lawrence A. Moens Associates represented the buyers.

Sunshine Estate Partners bought the home from developer Mark Pulte in April 2017 for $31.6 million.

The mansion boasts five bedrooms with nine and a half bathrooms under 12,830 square feet. Outside, there are 184 feet of water frontage at Lake Worth Lagoon with a dock and a pool, joined by 3,000 square feet of covered outdoor space.
