New Caribbean Itineraries Revealed by Emerald Cruises

Guests can enjoy an intimate yachting experience.

Emerald Cruises, known for its exceptional luxury yacht experiences, has just revealed its latest Caribbean itineraries for the winter 2024/2025 season on the renowned Emerald Azzurra. These fresh routes will take travelers to enchanting and lesser-known Caribbean destinations such as Jost van Dyke and Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands, Montserrat, and Antigua. The Emerald Azzurra will travel between St. Thomas or San Juan and St. John’s, Antigua, providing convenient air travel options for guests from the U.S. With overnight stays in the luxurious St. Barths and visits to the tranquil islands of Guadeloupe and Barbuda in the Leeward Islands, these itineraries are perfect for travelers looking to explore unique and discerning destinations.

Emerald Cruises is expanding its Caribbean sailings in response to high demand for the sister yacht Emerald Sakara, which is nearly fully booked for the upcoming season. The luxury cruise company has restructured its offerings, focusing on increasing its presence in the Caribbean while strategically adjusting its 2024/2025 Safari and Seychelles operations to prioritize guest safety and satisfaction due to changing regional dynamics.

“Our decision to increase our Caribbean presence reflects the strong guest interest in this region and aligns with changes in the Red Sea conditions,” Ken Muskat says, Managing Director of Scenic Group USA. “This adjustment not only enhances our offerings in highly sought-after destinations but ensures guests’ safety and satisfaction. Emerald Azzurra’s new schedule has been meticulously crafted to access unique ports that larger vessels simply cannot reach, providing exclusive and intimate exploration for all onboard.”

The new Caribbean itineraries will sail from Dec. 7, 2024 until Feb. 22, 2025. In addition, travelers who seek longer cruises may combine cruises with minimal overlapping of ports:

  • The 8-day “Caribbean Yachting Hideaways” sailings offer an intimate glimpse into the vibrant life of the Caribbean’s smaller ports, showcasing island life’s unique culture and relaxed pace.
  • The 8-day “Caribbean Yachting Discovery” sailings provide an authentic beach-hopping adventure, with most days spent at anchor, allowing guests to explore secluded beaches and serene swimming spots across the Caribbean. An extraordinary New Year’s sailing departing December 28 will include a festive New Year’s Eve party and New Year’s Day brunch while anchored off St. Barths.

In celebration of the introduction of these fresh itineraries, Emerald Cruises is offering a two-for-one fare deal and up to $3,000 in FlexCredit per suite for reservations made before July 7. Moreover, guests can save an extra $1,000 per suite on specific 2024 dates.
