►Investment banking firm Cassel Salpeter & Co. of Miami represented Systems 2000 in its sale to Serent Capital.

►Colliers International South Florida closed a lease with salmon distributor Marine Harvest U.S. at a 106,000-square-foot, built-to-suit industrial building in Medley.

►Cushman & Wakefield negotiated an 18,829-square-foot office lease expansion and renewal with Cyxtera Technologies at BAC Colonnade in Coral Gables.

►Florida’s CEO Leadership Forums began in South Florida on April 18 at Miami Dade College’s Idea Center, to help connect CEOs at small and midsize companies with business advisers and experts.

►Neighborhood Fuel, led by founder Jorge Camaraza, raised $2 million in a Series-A venture funding round to expand its vehicle fuel delivery service.
►Carrfour Supportive Housing has opened Karis Village, an eight-story, 88-unit apartment building in Miami’s Goulds neighborhood.

►Leslie Smith has been appointed managing partner of the Foley & Lardner’s Miami office.
►Paris-based Sisley, which offers skincare, makeup and fragrance collections, has opened its third freestanding U.S. boutique in the Miami Design District.
►The eye-catching Museum Garage was scheduled to open at Northeast First Avenue and 41st Street in Miami’s Design District at the end of April.
►Fortune International celebrated the opening of Jade Signature in Sunny Isles Beach.
►Miami Tower announced new tenants: BDO USA (23,000 square feet) and the Chartwell Law Offices (9,500 square feet).
