South Florida Business Leader Jordan Kavana Raises Significant Donation for Israel

Kavana served as a trustee on the Florida State Pension Plan Board.

Jordan Kavana, the CEO and Founder of ARK Homes for Rent, recently organized and raised a donation nearing seven figures in 24 hours for the Israeli Defense Forces with YPO Mosaic, an Israel-international chapter of nearly 300 business leaders globally. As a Holocaust survivor family, Kavana’s family overcame tremendous adversity to rebuild their life in Uruguay, where Jordan was born. Their resilience, perseverance, and disruptive spirit instilled a desire to challenge the status quo with an understanding that business challenges pale compared to life’s trials.

A founding member of AIPAC’s Miami club, Kavana is also helping urge the U.S. Department of Education to make colleges safe from antisemitism.

“All college campuses must be safe spaces where the constitutional rights of all are respected equally and unequivocally,” he says. “We owe it to the next generation to help derail the current trend which includes students feeling fear, angst, discrimination and revenge. Stop the hate and help ensure the next generation feels college is an opportunity to appreciate and understand different points of view, expand the mind, meet people from different backgrounds and of course, enjoy the experience with happiness and excitement!”

ARK Homes for Rent, which manages nearly 10,000 properties in the Sunbelt region, has recently revealed that it is finalizing plans with strategic investors. This move will enable the company to invest up to $2 billion in single-family rentals (SFR) and built-to-rent (BTR) communities. As a leading operator in the single-family rental market, this development will strengthen the company’s position in the industry.
