From modest Brooklyn beginnings to Princeton to ’80s corporate raider to financial and philanthropic icon, Carl Icahn has epitomized the Manhattan mover and shaker. And now he’s making a big move that has shaken financial headlines: Miami’s premier real estate development company since 1963 is pleased to announce that it entered into a lease with an entity affiliated with Icahn Enterprises L.P. for a 23,463 square-foot office at Milton Tower, a boutique, Class A office tower in Sunny Isles Beach.

“It was an easy decision for our company to choose Milton Tower as our new company headquarters after J. Milton & Associates created an office space that fit the unique dynamics of our company along with the oceanfront and Intracoastal views, building features and easy access to all the main roads,” says Hunter Gary, Senior Managing Director of Icahn Enterprises. Milton Tower completed construction in March 2020 and created a custom-made contemporary office space in the Penthouse and 12th floor of the Tower tailored to the overall business needs of Icahn Enterprises.

“As our first tenant, we are excited to have Icahn Enterprises, one of the most prestigious businesses, call Milton Tower their home,” said Joseph Milton, CEO of J. Milton & Associates. “We are aimed to work with tenants such as Icahn Enterprises that are seeking a sophisticated, secure and hi-tech office space in Sunny Isles Beach.” As leasing continues, the 102,000-square-foot Milton Tower is almost certain to draw more marquee names. The edifice can customize spaces for tenants with all types of businesses. With executive suites ranging in size from 3,000 to 13,900 square feet, Milton Tower marks Sunny Isles Beach’s first oceanfront office tower of this size and scale with quality, location and accessibility that appeals to a wide range of tenants, including residents who resist the urban density of downtown Miami or Brickell Avenue. “We’re raising the bar on luxury office space,” says Principal of Milton Tower, Yosi Gil. “Milton Tower is truly a ‘trophy building,’ a unique and rare boutique office tower with posh finishes that’s designed to be environmentally sustainable, by using green technologies, materials and concepts.”
