In a new study, SmartAsset analyzed the best places for black entrepreneurs. SmartAsset considered 39 of the largest metro areas across three categories and a total of nine metrics related to business success and job security. The results: The Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach area ranked among the top 10 places—landing at No. 7—for black entrepreneurs, below Boston and Washington, DC, but beating the tech powerhouses of Raleigh and Seattle.
