Jones Road Beauty Celebrates Opening of Fourth Retail Location in Palm Beach

The store will be one of the brand’s largest and its first location outside New York/New Jersey.

Jones Road, the beauty brand founded by makeup artist and entrepreneur Bobbi Brown, has launched its fourth brick-and-mortar retail store in Palm Beach. The Jones Road Palm Beach is open at 283 Royal Poinciana Way, within the city’s historic district. The store will occupy a corner lot and boast 1,447 square feet of retail space, marking the brand’s first location in the Southeast region. Jones Road already has three other stores in Montclair, NJ, New York City, NY, and East Hampton, NY. The fifth store will open in April in Chicago’s Bucktown district.

“Palm Beach was the perfect next location for us,” Brown says. “My husband and I live here for part of the year, so we had familiarity with the area, and we love it. We love the weather, the vibrant community and the great restaurants and shops who are now our neighbors at the new store. It was just the right vibe for us.”

The Palm Beach store will offer a range of clean and high-quality formulations created by Bobbi, which have become synonymous with the brand. The star product of its offerings is the versatile Miracle Balm, which is available in 10 shades and was recently recognized by top commerce platform Shopify as one of the highest-performing products during Black Friday 2023. All of the brand’s makeup and skincare products embody the inclusive beauty philosophy of Bobbi and the brand, catering to all ages, skin types, and skin tones. In addition to its product offerings, the Palm Beach location will host experiential events and live workshops. Fans, followers, and ‘Roadies’—a vibrant Facebook community of over 41,000 loyalists who engage with the Jones Road brand and team—can gather at the store to witness the brand come to life.

The Jones Road Palm Beach location is open daily. The hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
