Yacht Haven Park and Marina in Fort Lauderdale Undergoes Luxurious Upgrades and Renovations

Yacht Haven Park and Marina in Fort Lauderdale recently underwent numerous luxurious renovations and upgrades to transform into one of the nation’s premier motorcoach and yachting destinations. The luxury motorcoach and yacht resort, located along the south fork of the New River, features 222 motorcoach sites, waterfront views and a marina that can accommodate vessels up to 150 feet. The 20-acre-plus site was purchased in 2021 by Gary Cioffi and Christopher Hein.

“Our goal from the beginning was to make Yacht Haven one of the most exclusive RV resorts in the country, and that vision is coming together,” Cioffi says, Managing Partner of Yacht Haven. “Our location offers the convenience and amenities of downtown Fort Lauderdale and the tranquility of a tropical resort.”

The recent enhancements consolidated space from 265 to 222 sites, accommodating up to 40-foot Class A luxury motor coaches. The park and marina can suit six types of luxury RV sites for guests to choose from, including Royal Point Waterfront, Grand Waterfront, Waterfront Premium, Waterfront, Garden View Premium and Garden View. Each RV site features new landscaping, synthetic lawns, driveway pavers, upgraded patio areas, fiber optic Wi-Fi and new utility hookups.

The Yacht Haven Marina also offers worry-free docking for yachts and convenient access to Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. Dockage includes full hookups, and all vessels, crews and guests are supported by the exceptional service of Yacht Haven’s private marina team. Marina slips can be booked daily, weekly, or monthly.

It is considered a hurricane-hole marina approved by marine insurance companies.

Future enhancements will include a new state-of-the-art 6,000 square-foot clubhouse, a 6,000 square-foot rooftop lounge overlooking the RV resort, pool and the New River. In addition, a new 10,000 square foot pool and sundeck area, pickleball and basketball courts, a new state-of-the-art fitness center with locker rooms, a guest mail room center, a new sundries store, and golf cart, scooter, and bicycle rentals. Work on the upgrades will begin in mid-2023 after the conclusion of the 2022-2023 high season at the resort.
